Going Deeper Session:
During June and July we will gather after the worship service in the Adult Education building to get to know each other better through discussing the morning sermon, scripture and corresponding chapter from the book we are reading together—Practice Resurrection. Our goal is that the discussion and sharing will lead us into a deeper understanding and application of what we have learned.

Announcements:

All-Church Meal, August 1: We will be having an all-church meal after the morning worship service to kick off a month of hanging out, having fun and serving together as we continue to "grow up in Christ". Put it on your calendar - let's grow together!

Sunday, August 8 — Three off campus activities to enjoy: 1) Wilder Ranch walk; 2) Lunch at Erick’s and creative time at Petroglyph; 3) lunch and board games here at HSCC. Sign up for the group you would like to join by noting it on the back of the “connecting with you” sheet.

Sunday, August 15 — “Let’s go to lunch day”. There will be three groups at various locations around town that will be announced soon.

Sunday, August 22 — Day of serving our community. The locations we will be serving will be posted in the bulletin as soon as everything has been confirmed.

Sunday, August 29 — Activity Day. We are looking for more ideas for fun things to do and people who would enjoy leading them.

Summer Young Adult Discussion Group
Young Adult and College Students are invited to join us for the Summer on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm to discuss various topics relevant to our Faith and Culture. Participants will be forming the content of each weekly discussion by bringing a topic of interest on a rotation basis.
