As we’ve been going through our I Speak Jesus series, I’m in awe of the manifold ways Jesus reveals Himself to us…

Watch Sunday’s Sermon, “An Ordinary Breakfast with Jesus” from our I Speak Jesus series

From Gethesemane to the Cross—

Jesus is the One who suffers for our forgiveness and healing. He loves people inside and beyond the borders of His own tribe. Even to His last breath, Jesus offers full pardon, inviting-in the criminal to His Kingdom.

Who is like Jesus?

From the Tomb to the Clouds—

In His resurrection, we’ve witnessed Jesus reveal His New Life so tenderly to Mary in her most desperate tears. And unveil His resurrection power to disbelieving and wayward disciples who still didn’t understand what Jesus was all about. And they were captivated by Him as He graciously opened their minds to begin to see Him as He is.

Who is like our Jesus?

From the Clouds to the Church—

We’re just turning the corner in the resurrection accounts from seeing Jesus’ resurrection through the disciple's eyes, to His enthronement in the heavens and the outpouring of His Holy Spirit on all His people—to do what He does, to say what He says, to love as He loves.

This is what He did then and He is doing now in us, too.

Who is like our King Jesus?

Take a moment to soak in all that He’s done.

From earthly ministry, to His resurrection in victory, to the gift of His presence with us…

Turn to Him afresh. What would it be like to receive from Him today? Even now?

Let’s prayerfully do so, and anticipate His movement as we continue I Speak Jesus through studying the powerful blessing of His Ascension this Sunday.

See you soon!
